These two pieces were a delight to design and work on.
The lady who commissioned this set lives in Australia and asked if I could design and build two pieces with a shared theme. She asked for a pendant that she could wear on her wedding day and a belt buckle that her husband-to-be could wear.
They are both nature lovers but the two animals they feel most connected to are the lyrebird and dragonfly, so I was asked to create a design that would incorporate them.
I made the dragonfly central to the design and used the tailfeathers as inspiration for the rest of the decoration.
We were all very happy with the end result.
