These masks were designed and produced for the ‘Deviel’s Eyes’ music video by the band The Untold Sorrow in 2010. The music video was produced by Video ink Ltd.
In the music video, we see people attending a club in which many debauched and depraved acts are being performed. Two of the people in attendance are a banker and a vicar.
The brief was to create a mask for the banker and vicar to wear in order to conceal their identity. The masks were designed and built by me. The detail is a mixture of sculpted epoxy putty and hand-textured brass. The painting and finishing of the masks was also carried out by me.
After filming had wrapped, the producers at Video Ink asked to buy the pieces from me. They are now in the personal collection of Adam Barker. CEO of Video Ink.
