These rings were the first lost wax project that I ever worked on.
These were both carved from jeweller’s wax. They both have the same ivy design, but one is relief while the other is proud. In effect, the rings are opposites of each other. A positive and a negative, Yin and Yang.
Once again, the rings were carved from wax and sent to a third-party foundry that deals with precious metals. One ring was cast in Sterling silver, and the other was cast in white gold.
